Lake Vyrnwy & Dinas Mawddwy β a Sunday loop into Wales
146 km4h 4m on the road
One Honda Hornet, a clear Sunday morning, and the hills of mid-Wales calling. This is a proper loop β out the northern way over to Lake Vyrnwy, down through the valley to lunch at the cafe in Dinas Mawddwy at the foot of the Bwlch y Groes, then home a different, southern road. About 90 miles, two cameras running the whole way β the 360 catches the road and the rider in the one shot, the Ace Pro 2 rides shotgun. Tap a thumbnail to flick through the photos and the films.

Lake Vyrnwy & Dinas Mawddwy β a Sunday loop into Wales
Out of Shropshire and west into Wales, the A483 corridor pointing me at the hills. A pause near the Lake Vyrnwy approach, then the road tips into the valley β the good stuff: sweepers, stone bridges, sheep with opinions, and the odd biker coming the other way to nod at. Lunch at Dinas Mawddwy, under the Bwlch y Groes, then the long southern way home through Mallwyd, Welshpool and Montgomery. A loop, the way a Sunday should be.
